Description

These are a type of black bean noodle modelled after the Korean Jajangmyeon. These are made by Samyang in Korea.

They are of no relation to lens maker, Samyang Optics.

The Nongshim version of this features in the movie Parasite and serves as commentary on social class.

I got these for AUD$8.00 for a pack of 5.

Thoughts

jjajang flavoured noodles are one of my favourites.
The texture umami flavour goes well together with the noodles.
For some reason, this type of noodles is always on the pricier side.
